Jim Edwards knows Oklhoma history backwards and forwards . He had a bookstore in OKC in the 60's til the 90's and is staying with it in Muskogee " til the end."
If you are looking for rare and antique books, this is where you need to go! We found books there that we have been searching for for months! And at amazing prices! He has signed editions, first editions, and beautiful books from the 1800s. It isn't the largest store, but it is full of quality things. It is the kind of store you can spend hours in and still not see every treasure (Believe me!). And that isn't even mentioning the owner, Mr. Edwards. If you want a good conversation, look no further. He has so much information in that head of his, on every subject! He truly loves his customers and you can tell that he loves what he does, and he loves his collection. What a delightful little shop! The owner was knowledgeable and friendly, and he had lovely books. I left with an entire box full of wonderful books that will be added to our home library for a very reasonable price. If I lived locally, I would definitely come back.
