Be careful which realtor you choose. Before the close my husband found a mistake on the closing documents and was cursed at by our realtor (including the "F" word) because correcting the mistake would cause a 3 day delay in the closing. We have had absolutely no service after they made thousands of dollars from being the listing and selling agents. After 5 weeks in the house we still don't have keys to exterior doors or screen doors and only one garage door opener. I have left numerous messages for the broker and been by the office three times. The sprinkler system supposedly only had a line break under the driveway which was fixed. We found after moving in it has 4 heads off of it with a water line break by the back fence. The only reason I'm giving one star is I have to in order to post this and the realtor did go out of his way to show us homes before we made an offer on this one. We are so disappointed in the lack of professionalism after they made their money.
Shawn is probably the best in the business. He helped us find an awesome house even though it didn't exactly fit our search criteria. In other words, he knew what we wanted better than we did. Will definitely use this agency again if we ever move.
I bought my home through CS Raper and Sons in 2008. I was a first time home buyer and they really took their time showing me anything I wanted to look at. After about 6 months of off-and-on searching with nothing promising in my price range, we looked at a nice 3 bedroom, 2 bath on 5 acres just outside of town that had just been reduced. It had pasture, a shop, etc. and was perfect for me. It was a little outside my price rage, which looking back now was low for what I wanted, but was a house I could grow into and be my forever home for as long as I lived in Muskogee. This house has been a great investment and I'm glad I looked at enough places to be comfortable with the purchase. Can't recommend CS Raper & Sons enough. The advice (cinder block walls are hard to resell, this is overpriced based on these comparable sales, etc.) was very much appreciated, as was the patience for me to come to my own conclusions. They will have my business as long as I'm in Eastern OK.
I bought my home in march of this year. It was a super pleasant experience! Shawn is most definitely the best in the business, he showed me multiple homes and made sure i didn't get anything less than perfect for me! He went above and beyond any expectations I had set for a home buying experience!
