Fresh and flavorful. Great carne asada
As an American country boy that knows authentic Mexican food, El Charo is the closest to being in a Mexican family's home. Not only is their menu choices great, they will substitute anything you would like. Staff is always willing to serve you, with a smile.
Not the best Mexican food I have had. The spinach enchiladas I ordered tasted awful. The spinach was just unseasoned canned spinach rolled into a corn tortilla covered in some sort of cheese sauce. My husband and son didn't even get what they order, but ate the bland burritos they were served regardless. The waitress also came by and got my glass and the glass of several other tables at the same time to refill drinks. Gross. How do I know that's my cup you are bringing back. Left thirsty and hungry. Would not go back here to eat.
I absolutely love the food here. We eat here every time we get the chance.
