Very POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! I walked in the store the manager smiled, and I asked Where can I find your jump ropes? He said "In the back, in fitness!" Now he didn't stop to escort me to show me exactly where they were located. I am in the back of the store looking. There is another lady not far from me a worker comes by and says "Y'all doing alright?" Then He asked her if she needed help with anything she said "NO." Never once did he ask me! I finally found the jump ropes but decided I will keep my money if I can't get better customer service than this. As I was walking out of the store, I saw the manager and not a word was spoken, like "Did you find every thing Ok?" Nothing!! I would NOT recommend shopping here to anyone!
Their firearms and ammunition selection are poor, their staff know absolutely nothing about their strength and conditioning equipment, management never contacted me about a special order I wanted to make (which is fine, Amazon was a lot cheaper), and their prices are crazy!
Needing heavier duty lifting equipment, I found staff giving answers like "Sure, I bet that squat rack can hold five hundred pounds." Of course, if you insist on googling the equipment in question, you find out that it has a hard limit of 300 lbs. The staff are asking to put Dick's corporate in a bad situation.
The prices are just so high. Very high-quality items available in all kinds of sports. anything you're looking for can be found at Dick's Sporting Goods. Just a little out of my price range.
Aside from the fact that you can buy most of their firearms and outdoors-related items cheaper at *local* vendors than Dick's, I really don't know how they expect to survive around here. Their prices are nowhere near competitive.
What has happened to informed employees? We would drive the extra miles to Bass Pro before going back.
They have all the sporting goods you could possibly want. A bit more expensive than walmart but you can't beat the selection
