The room was nice but the hallway smelled of cigarettes. I might be too picky but I don't like smelling that on the way to my room. I appreciate breakfast being out (@6:30) before posted time (@7:00). Thank you!
Worst hotel experience ever. Pool and hot tub were out of order, entire hall smelled of cigarette smoke, breakfast was cold, failed to give a wake up call as requested, loud construction just a couple rooms away, ice machine on my floor was out of order. Out dated rooms, incompetent staff, manager was nowhere to be found and choice hotels wouldn't do anything to fix the issues. Left early and moved to a different hotel.
Sheets were stained so I had housekeeping bring fresh sheets. Hair dryer didn't work. Ants were all over the kitchen area the next morning. Ice maker was broken on 2nd floor. Pool and hot tub were out of order. Staff was good.
The room was nice and I enjoyed my stay, my problem was that I paid cash for my room but they charged my card for the stay as well. I called the hotel immediately after I found out and spoke with a manager who told me my money would be reimbursed that day. I gave them the entire day to do so and the money was not and is not reimbursed. My account was overdrafted because of this and the overdraft fee keeps going up because the money was not put back. I called back and the lady at the desk is now saying it’s going to take a few days, conveniently the manager is not in after I specifically asked her if my money was not back that day could I call her back tomorrow and she said yes. Yes your hotel is nice but taking my money makes me have a bad taste in my mouth about you and I will be sure to tell my friends that before they decide to stay there.
The only complaint it was late and dark and sign was not lit and circled several times trying to find. Even after getting directions could not see it toooo dark did not even look open. Otherwise fine stay helpful staff. New lady was learning but everyone has to learn so wish her luck.
